This art piece is a collaboration between the female designers of Tribe Alive and a talented fifth-generation block printer. The ancient Indian craft begins with the artwork handcarved into wooden blocks, and then handprinted onto up-cycled cotton paper. It tells the story of tradition through craftsmanship and innovation through turning cotton fashion waste into art.
The East West Print is symbolic of two sides reaching toward each other and meeting in the middle to overlap in unity.
