Fernanda Martínez, the artist behind La Tinta, is a Mexican artist based in Oakland, California. Her work explores and is inspired by the environment, incorporating nature as the main theme in her paintings. Fernanda's art is best recognized for its highly vibrant colors and abstract organic shapes.
Products include art prints, stationery products, fabrics and original art. She has also painted her designs into murals in different small business and on buildings around the Bay Area, including the Palm + Perkins brick and mortar shop in Berkeley! All of her products are made locally in Oakland, and when she works in collaboration with other brands, she focuses on supporting local businesses, such as print and screen printing shops.
