After not being able to find good linens in stores, Vita Murauskiene began making her own for herself and loved ones. She started with bedding sets, and then expanded into home, kitchen and clothing linens, which inspired her to start MagicLinen in 2015. What started as a one-person team has now evolved into a company employing over 20 people.
MagicLinen is a small, family-run company in Vilnius, Lithuania that makes carefully designed and handcrafted linen goods. Their high-quality linen products are made from fibers of the European flax plant that have been stone-washed for maximum comfort. The fabric is Oeko-Tex certified and they are committed to environmentally-friendly practices, like recycling and minimizing waste by using textile scraps to create their smaller products.
They have an in-house production facility where they hand-make every product with love and care. Not only does having a production facility help them better understand the production processes, but they also create jobs for their local community. Keeping in mind that the textile and fashion industry is notorious for bad working conditions, MagicLinen take extra care of their production house workers and ensure the best possible work environment.
